A cup of coffee and a little luck!

Koffiepiraat was founded in 2011 because our founder, Heidi, became somewhat frustrated with the limited supply of coffee. There are so many great coffee roasters that make great coffee, but they are not available in the supermarket. We wanted to change that and so Koffiepiraat was born! By now you can buy a large selection of different coffee beans from us.

It is our goal to spread a little bit of happiness worldwide. We achieve this by supplying a large assortment of coffee beans, coffee pads, ESE pads, capsules and ground coffee from various A-brand coffee roasters, at competitive prices. At Koffiepiraat, however, we are much more than coffee lovers. We strive to convey the same happy feeling that a great cup of coffee does! Thus, it is of course incredibly important to us to make our customers happy. We do this through our quality products, competitive prices and fast delivery! However, it is also important for us to make our partners and our team, or crew, happy.

One team, one task

We don't do it all by ourselves, offering quality coffee to the widest possible audience. We get help from partners, our suppliers. These partners not only ensure that we have our delicious products in stock, but also contribute to the sustainability of Koffiepiraat. Read more about that here. So we also want to make sure that our suppliers are happy and therefore perform at their maximum.

The same goes for our team! It is a top priority for us that our orders reach the customer as quickly as possible. However, it is also our top priority that our team is happy! We consist of a team of 17 people, all from different nationalities and backgrounds. Koffiepiraat cares about its crew, so it is important that everyone has enough time to spend with family and gets paid adequately for their work. For example, working weekends with us is voluntary, so everyone works at the times that suit them best.

When this triangle is fully balanced, we are truly satisfied. That balance means not only working together to make the customers who buy our coffee and coffee beans as happy as possible, but also doing our part for the world. It makes us all happy!
