These Kimbo Extreme coffee beans used to go by the name 'Kimbo Top Quality', which in our view was an excellent name for this fantastic 100% Arabica coffee. Only top quality beans from Central America and Brazil used to create this Kimbo Extreme.

The Kimbo Extreme is found in most of the 500-600 typical Italian coffee bars of the area around Mount Vesuvius, the home market of the Neapolitan coffee Caffè Kimbo
It forms the perfect basis for a delicious espresso. This Neapolitan influence can definitely be found in this Kimbo Extreme: A delicious dark roast for an intense aroma and full body. The robust, spicy character of this Extreme fits well with a coffee from this intensity. Sharpness can not be found in the flavour because of the smooth nature of the used Arabica beans. 

The beans are (as usual in the Neapolitan regions) burned longer, making the blend look darker. This also increases gloss on the bean because the bean has started the 'perspire phase' of the roasting process. This makes the bean smoother (not greasy!) on the outside, so less powerful fully automatic machines may have difficulty grinding smaller quantities. 

The Kimbo Extreme beans create a perfect espresso or espresso ristretto and definitely a form good base for a cappuccino.
