-These filters utilize the up-flow principle,  the required amount of fresh water is purified. This filter optimaised for effceint use.

-Unlike many other alternative filters, the filters from KoffiePiraat  have a pre-filter. This pre-filter is a very fine mesh screen and prevents granules in the water from getting into the return flow.

-This alternative is suitable for all Jura Impressa machines that use the Jura Claris White filter (Jura's item no. 60209). Jura machines after August 2009 often make use of the Jura Claris Blue filter. He following are the types of machines for which this filter is appropriate (only if previously specified criteria is also met, including therefore produced before August 2009) are: One Touch, XS95, XS95 One Touch, Z5, generation2 Z5, Z7, 201, 300, 301, 500, 601, 801, 300, 4000, 5000, Scala, Scala Vario, Subito, Ultra, Cappuccino and Evolution.

-Each filter can be used for 2 months or for 50 liters of water.

-Unopened these filters have virtually unlimited shelf life at room temperature.
