Is coffee healthier than tea?

Many people wonder, is coffee healthier or is tea?

And why would you choose one over the other? What exactly is the reasoning behind it? You often hear that people have a preference for one of the two options. Usually they both drink, but people prefer one over the other.



Coffee

It is well known that coffee is made from coffee beans. Such a bean is officially a fruit. Usually it concerns an Arabica bean, a Robusta bean or a combination of both. The Arabica bean is somewhat less strong and therefore contains significantly less caffeine. There are all kinds of health effects associated with drinking coffee, such as the effect of vitamins, improved athletic performance, more alertness and an increased metabolism. Two of the most popular coffee beans are those of the brands Illy and Lavazza.



Tea

Tea has a much longer and richer history than coffee. It has been drunk for thousands of years and originally originated in China. Tea also has a number of health effects. This is mainly expressed in increased resistance thanks to the antioxidants, a reduced chance of cardiovascular diseases and it would ensure a smaller chance of certain types of cancer.

Coffee or tea?

Judging from the health effects, it's probably an 'or' question with an 'and' answer. Both drinks have their own benefits. So drink what you like better. If you really want to pick a winner, it's probably coffee. The list of health effects is a bit longer and includes some more significant effects.
