How it started

Richard tells us that they were not happy with the coffee they drank. It had to be better and they decided to do it themselves. It starts with the coffee farmers and it ends with the coffee they roast themselves in Amsterdam. The goal of Jones Brothers is to give you the best coffee they can get. As Premium Blends or Single Origins, for espresso or filter coffee, from beans harvested by farmers we know. They have been working on that for the past 10 years

Jones Brothers Now

Richard says that they are always focused on the quality of the coffee. 'We are constantly looking for the best quality beans. Because of this, the origin of the coffee beans can vary. We only want 100% Arabica.' Jones Brothers then roasts the beans themselves and packages the coffee to be able to send it as quickly as possible. This way, the coffee is as fresh as possible.

Future

When asked what creative solutions he has applied, Richard says that they are working on a project to provide hospitals with good coffee. 'For every cup of coffee we sell, we also give a cup of coffee to healthcare. We do this in the form of coffee machines and coffee beans. We have already been able to make two hospitals in Haarlem and Amsterdam happy. Coffee can be the fuel for the heroes who work so hard.'

In addition to this action, things are also changing in the company itself. 'We were never able to organize a Friday afternoon drink with the entire team. But now we can, with video calling!'

Richard is very happy with this because 'Especially in these times it is so important to be together.'
