Read our interview with Chris from Spotter Coffee here!

The story of the Dutch Spotter Coffee starts on the other side of the world. Founder Chris Veldt was traveling through Australia in a van. He enjoyed the free life and started working as a crocodile caretaker, lifeguard, truck driver in a quarry and many other fun jobs. At that time Chris did not know that his last job would change his life. During a moving job in Sydney he had to move a boy who made Cold Brew Coffee in his garage. The idea of cold brewed coffee was strange but after the first glass Chris was sold. Cold Brew Coffee is great.

Back in the Netherlands, Chris immediately went in search of the best Cold Brew Coffee. After many hours of research, the founder decided to make his own coffee. After months of trying out coffee with different coffee beans and grinding methods, Chris had found the right composition. Spotter Coffee was born: a local product that is brewed and bottled by hand.

During the interview, Chris indicated that the best reactions about Spotter Coffee come from people who have never had Cold Brew Coffee. Spotter Coffee is a great way to meet other coffee lovers and inform them about the special coffee.

Just like before

It is remarkable that Chris discovered Cold Brew Coffee on the other side of the world. The Dutch did the same in the 17th century! At that time, coffee was drunk hot in our little country. However, this was not acceptable to the skippers of the VOC. In warm Asia, they let ground coffee beans rest in cold water for 12 to 24 hours. On the ship, cold coffee was drunk to cool down in the Asian sun. In addition, the coffee also had a much longer shelf life for the long journey. This special way of making coffee is now called Cold Brew Coffee. Another name for Cold Brew Coffee is coincidentally Dutch Coffee. Spotter Coffee brings this authentic way of brewing coffee back to the Netherlands, so that you can enjoy a delicious classic cup of coffee.

Be surprised by the Cold Brew Coffee from Spotter Coffee . Now available at KoffiePiraat.
