Brand intro
Brand intro
Bristot's philosophy has not changed since the brand was founded: their characteristic features are quality and excellence. Once, in 1919, their founder Domenico Bristot embarked on a research project that allowed him to fulfill his dream. Today, more than 100 years after the coffee roasting company was founded, their philosophy remains unchanged: high-quality products and first-class service. Domenico Bristot was the founder of the coffee roasting company, which still bears his name. His hard work, skills, luck, and intuition were the components of his success, as for many people of his time. A very young Domenico moved to Vienna, one of the capitals of the Belle Epoque, a melting pot for philosophers, writers, scientists, and entrepreneurs. He maintained several important friendships. One of them, in particular, was crucial for his future: he met a coffee roaster who introduced him to the fascinating world of coffee. In 1919, he returned to Italy and established his own small factory for the production of roasters, where he could apply all the special blending methods he had studied in Vienna. Years later, thanks to experiments and research, he was finally able to achieve the desired result: coffee with an intense aroma, sweet taste, fruit, certainly different from the coffee offered in those years. This is the secret to Torrefazione Bristot's success: a distinctive roasting, precision in researching the best origins, and a passion for excellence. All for coffee with a unique sensation. The mountainous region of the Dolomites in the province of Belluno in the Veneto region is considered the birthplace of Italian ice cream makers. Cafe Bristot was founded in 1919 in the city of Belluno, and as ice cream producers spread across Europe, many sourced Bristot coffee from their region. This is how Bristot gained cult status as an ice cream parlor.
