Who is Masha?

Mascha Mooy is a very enthusiastic entrepreneur, who enjoys every moment of life! She is the owner and founder of Bye Bye Burnout and lives in Amsterdam.

Two weeks ago, the team of Koffie Piraat had the honor to speak to her digitally and, while enjoying a cup of coffee, receive some nice tips from her that contribute to a healthy and happy life. Our goal in 2021!

International approach

Mascha is a bestselling author in the field of Burnout. With international clients such as Google and national clients such as Adidas and McDonald's, we can conclude that Mascha and the various coaches she works with have sufficient knowledge to tackle the problem of burnout and work-related stress in a professional manner.

Ten years ago, Mascha herself was struck by a burn-out and she knows better than anyone what it is like to be in such an unpleasant situation. This was the moment that she decided to start living her dream life.

“A burnout is a learning experience and it is therefore very difficult if you suffer from it. But when the experience is over, you learn a lot about yourself and you learn to live your dream life.”

Despite the fact that this can happen to anyone and one in three people in the Netherlands suffer from it, many people are still ashamed of it. Very often people deny that they have stress, do not recognize it or quickly put it aside with the "just busy" excuse. The origin of these problems often starts with a job that one is not happy with, but where one continues to work because it feels familiar or where one is well paid.

Bye Bye Burnout is a company that helps other companies with employees who suffer from work-related stress and/or burnout. In this case, Bye Bye Burnout helps employees overcome the problem. But they also help prevent these problems! Mascha does not do this alone, but with various experts spread throughout the Netherlands.

During this Corona time, the various sessions will continue, but digitally via Zoom and FaceTime. “The world is shaking up now because of Corona and people should realize that you have one life to live, live it. Make it your dream life! How difficult it might be, try. At least, try.” Over the years I have come to realize that what is best for me, is not the best for you. There is not just one solution for everyone. In connection with our Wellness and Health campaign in January, we will share weekly tips from Mascha Mooy that contribute to your happiness and health in these difficult times.
